"You feel like you stepped back in time. A lot of history and the architecture takes you back. The restaurant was excellent, top notch mixology. For an older property it is top notch. We stayed in the second floor and had no problems with noise. Rooms are smaller but cozy. We will definitely stay again."

"Completely adequate. Small private airconditioned room w/ double bed and private bathroom. Shared kitchen and common area was nice to have. But it's a hostel, so no frills otherwise. $270/night for a hostel seems a bit high, but it's the Gaslamp during a major conference @ SDCC, so supply and demand I guess. Friends that made their reservations earlier got rooms @ the Marriott & Omni for less, so it's partially my fault for waiting too long. Bottom line is I would stay again in the same...

"Good location near restaurants bars and Petco Park everything was walking distance. The staff was very nice the rooms were clean but very small. Only bad thing is the parking it’s expensive we paid $144 for Friday through Sunday at a nearby parking structure."
