"When you want to be near a beach, some walking trails, a cafe, the mountains and watch the boats on the water - this is it! Just a pity it rained the whole time we were there! The property is set up as a home from home and has everything we needed to cook a roast, open a bottle of wine or sit on the verandah with a hot cuppa and watch the water (and the rain). "Rates as a good property, wee bit out of town but great parking, great bed. Seems to suit commercial travellers for one night stays. Huge bathroom but tiny shower......could not touch your toes if you bend over. Reception was efficient but man was not overly friendly...would have been nice to have a rather warmer welcome"

"We’ve stayed at many places in and around Paihia and this place was lovely. Superb views, clean, good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, the spa was great. It is elevated away from the foot traffic of Paihia which is a nice change. The dvd library was a welcome blast from the past. Modern, excellent views, captured the sun, warm and clean. Would stay here again. "
