I do wish I knew ahead of time that you need to bring your own water for cooking. There is water at the bathhouse and camper but both are lake water. "The room was really clean however there was a lack of hot water for a shower at night and in the morning and bugs in the hot tub when we tried to use it at night other than that it was an excellent getaway nice warm fireplace nice shower and being downtown near restraints museums and the waterfront made everything within walking distance overall I would gladly go back again probably will in the near future"

Jen communicated well, giving all the needed instructions about entry and free parking etc. The room and all areas of the property were well appointed, very clean and had obvious attention to detail. This place is off the charts in character. I had coffee in the turret and looked out to see the St Lawrence River. The stairs require some attention by anyone who climbs them. If was a bit more expensive than other options but well worth the extra. "

"This was hands down the coolest place we have ever stayed! A converted primary school in to a bed and breakfast. The rooms are MASSIVE! The beds were heavenly. Every detail was thought through. The hosts were welcoming and so knowledgeable about the area’s history. Honestly wish we could have stayed longer. If you are in the area this is a must stay. So different from anything else. Can’t recommend enough! "
