"I wish I had read more of the negative reviews before booking this house as I agree with the issues they raise. It’s a beautiful piece of property and the house offers a lot of space but feels not well maintained or fully furnished. I would expect more out of a grand home and setting like this.The listing says the pool doesn’t open until summer. Well, I would assume that Memorial Day weekend is the beginning of summer. I would certainly assume that the pool would be clean even if it’s not open...

"Great place! Stayed with our parents & other family for our daughter’s graduation at Vassar. Well appointed kitchen & fantastic patio and fire pit. Grill was out of gas when we got there and our hosts were in it within minutes. Would definitely recommend for larger family gatherings."

"We had an amazing stay at this cabin. It is surrounded by a beautiful forest, making it the perfect place to relax and escape the noise of the city. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying the peaceful views was truly unforgettable. "Two things I felt were needed: 1) better lighting outside along the road up to the Atlas. At night time, it is quite dark and the house on the right where we turn was lit up but not the hotel office. It was confusing. 2) A much bigger sign is needed for the hotel office. Again at night is when many guests arrive and once you are inside I had to figure out their old system of picking up the phone and wait for someone to come check me in. "
