"Overall the room was quiet, clean and nicely presented, however it was a bit dark and awkwardly shaped with little room at the foot of the bed due to the odd shape of our particular room (1807). The James is ideally located in the centre of Rotterdam and is walkable from the railway station. Overall good value and would recommend to others."

"The location is fabulous — it took us just 4 minutes to walk to Rotterdam Train Station for trains to Amsterdam Airport or nearby towns. The whole walk is under cover, so rain isn't a worry at all. Super convenient.
The hotel is quite new and the room was spotless. The only thing missing was a luggage rack, but the front desk sent one up right away. The internet wasn't working in our room that night, but we could head down to the lobby to get online.
The price including breakfast was a big...

"During our stay we never had any issues over availability of parking spaces with all vehicles in clear sight of Reception. Breakfast was substantial and plentiful with lots of warm and cold options.
Staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. On the one rainy day during our stay, staff offered us the use of Hotel Umbrellas.
We never heard anyone in neighbouring rooms as the sound insulation was excellent."
