"The staff was great even before arrival. There was a transit strike the day of our arrival and I was notified by one of the staff members via message in regard to that and they offered to book us a taxi from the airport to the hotel. That worked out perfectly! They were all very helpful with any questions we had and sight seeing suggestions too. The room was clean and very nice. Beds were comfortable as well. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Amsterdam!"

"The rooms were clean but very small. The breakfst was good and the staff did an excelent job of managing the high guest count on accoount of the business confrence that was going on in town that drew crowds from around the world. Very close to the train station (2 minute walk) that makes it easy to take the train into Amsterdam Central. Would come back again. Zaandam is a beautiful city."

"The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have free guest laundry service at the ground floor (-1) which fits our needs. Free coffee and tea and upon request for more. Bathroom is clean and high basin for tall people like us is perfect."

"The hotel is located in a very nice area, though there aren’t many restaurants or cafes within a quick walk. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. However, this is advertised as a 4 star hotel, and it most certainly isn’t. The rooms are extremely dated, and the carpet is old and sticky. We had the family room with two kids, so when the overhead lights went off, the bunkbed corridor felt very dark and creepy. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Zaandam. It was easy walking distance to a large grocery store, which made it easy for grabbing a few necessities and also an easy walk to the train station. Our room was very clean and our beds were very comfortable. We had a personal issue that we needed to take care of, and the staff went out of their way to assist us. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
