"Central location for our local island exploration! Room initially very dark with no central light and rather dim lamps. After expressing concern the front desk arranged for two larger lamps to be brought to our room… this made it much better. One suggestion for management… it would be helpful to make available some type of local map, such as those commonly containing advertisements for local businesses."

"Excellent location at the start of the waterside boardwalk. Good restaurant."

"I’ve stayed in more than 250 hotels and vacation rentals over the past 30 years, so I have a pretty good basis for comparison. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay."

"Great place to stay in north Sydney nova Scotia...."

"Everything for good for the price"

"The parking was sufficient and close to the Ferry."

"Excellent place to stay. Wonderful people and fantastic dinner and breakfast."

"Comfortable, nicely decorated, breakfast was good."

"The cabin met all our needs and then some. The bath and kitchen was well supplied. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. The owner must enjoy decorating…..very cute. A bit out of the way from stores and other services but Sydney an easy drive."

"We did not have high expectations, however it was very similiar to staying in student housing. We had to clean many dishes before we used them. It is a run down house. The queen beds were comfortable. Burn Mark on the sheets.!The shower was clean. Overall we were not comfortable in the environment and wanted to leave as quickly as possible."
