"We had a great week here. The host is wonderful. The cottage is fabulous and comfortable, and the landscaping is beautiful. The pool was perfect for warm, sunny days. As other reviews say, it is close to the hospital district, but that wasn't a big deal for us. It's close to downtown for visits to Grubb's Grocery & the Farmer's Market. Others have mentioned the steep stairs to the upstairs area. They are steep; it's an historic home, and that is one of the many cool facets of this 1940's home....

"We loved the cozy basement apartment for our stay. It has the best showers and the house has everything said in the description. The owners were so kind and respectful. Upon arrival the showed us where we could find all the lakes toys and amenities. It was an excellent stay."

"This property could not have a more fitting name. From the time i stepped foot outside of my car, the beautyl and serenity of the property caused every vestige of stress to dissipate. From the front porch (and swing) and the back patio, to the beautiful hard wood floors and claw-foot tub, no guest could want for anything. "Overall good place to stay. It is clean and has lots of games and puzzles for children. Beds sleep well. If i could suggest 1 thing it world be at least 2 good pans to cook bacon and eggs in...We always cook breakfast. We have stayed here every time we visit family and it is avaliable."
