"The best parts about this cottage are its location in Camp Meeting, which is a quaint, quiet, wooded, camp-like community, walkable to dining and family friendly events, the wrap around porch, and the time period decor. The sleeping arrangements with 4 mixed gender teens were a challenge, but if your teen/preteen, our you (parent) don't mind taking the couch, there is plenty of room for 6 guests like is in this cottage. "We had a lovely time staying at this property. The cabin was charming and antique with a huge porch. We loved the claw foot tub, the fireplace, and the proximity to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. We only wished we'd had more time and indoor space to hang out together!"

"Husband and I stayed 2 nights while in town with our 3 kids (14, 13, 11). Short drive to Hershey park. The farm was so cute and the kids fell in love with Ranger the corgi. House was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable! Which is important to me. Would recommend and would most definitely stay again!"

"I've been driving by The Shoe for over 40 years and finally took the opportunity to spend a weekend there with life-long friends. It.Was.Fantastic!!!! It's cozy, cool, creative, and full of history! We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU to the owners and host for preserving this iconic York County site and for the perfect place to have a mini-vacay with my girls!"

"Myself, my wife, and our dog stayed the weekend while I was in town for a seminar and, truthfully, I can't think of a single thing about this property that wasn't wonderful. It's located close to everything in town without being in town itself. It's right off a main road, but the cottage is set back enough so that it is not obtrusive. "Much older home with 2 bathrooms ,one on second floor and one on third floor . There was an awful smell coming from the tub on 3rd, floor. My son being a plumber said it was not vented properly. Bedrooms were all upstairs 2nd and 3rd floor, very comfortable beds and clean, Stairs were narrow and hard to climb for the older ones staying, especially just to go to bathroom. Only 1 parking space for property so any extra vehicles had to park elsewhere away from the house, We had to be dropped off...

"Perfect stay for our scout troop weekend at Hersheypark. The house was clean and comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed and plenty of space for our group. It was a safe quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from the park. As others have mentioned, the stairs are steep and the downstairs much colder than upstairs but overall it was exactly what we needed, would stay here again."
