"Wonderful unique home within the forest. Lovely comfortable home to enjoy no matter the weather, relaxing, and so enjoyable listening to the birds (the dawn chorus echoing through the forest was outstanding), the night sky was out of this world. "From the thick carpet throughout the house to the colourful duvets on all the beds, the little pictures on the wall, to the huge TV that does what you want it to! Every thing in the kitchen that you desire including a basic breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the double glazing on all the windows. It is now a Number One destination for us in Timaru."

"Thank you so much Kay. The cottage was more than we could have imagined. So many thoughtful touches and delicious breakfast provisions. Loved the fairy lights and lanterns!!! The kids absolutely adored the sawdust toilet experience 😊. Will be recommending. We wished we had at least one more night. Stars were outstanding. Thank you so much xxx"

"Very friendly hosts with a very clean property and the self help breakfast offerings are a nice touch. Bathroom and toilet situation is a little unusual in that they are situated in the small entrance hallway so I would recommend bringing a dressing gown as it feels like you could bump into the hosts here (but we never did) - the shower has excellent pressure though. The main unit entrance door has a keyless lock which is excellent - there is also an entrance to the hosts house from here. Then...

"No puedo dar ninguna opinión porque no me alojé. Reservé el día 22 de Febrero para alojarme el mismo día. Estaba en Queenstown y salí para Tekapo, Cuando llegué no tenía habitación, por error la reserva al hacerla me saltó al día 22 de Marzo. Intenté cambiarla pero no era posible. Es una lastima que por un simple error de internet o un despiste no se pueda hacer nada, ni incluso contactar con la central de reservas para intentar solucionar el problema."
