"Clean room, comfy bed and beach view were the only positives. Martello lounge had cheap furniture, not enough glasses for our drinks, lift was so small and only 1 lift for all those rooms. Champagne bar was closed for wedding Friday and private function on Saturday so we couldn’t use it. We got up early for sauna and steam room, reception area was old and tacky, we had a sauna and jacuzzi, lad on tag was in there with us, my wife felt uneasy so we left. Breakfast was very poor for the price...

"Wir waren zu zweit im Familienzimmer und hatten gut Platz. Es war im 3.Stock und der Aufzug war defekt. Aber das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und hat unsere schweren Koffer rauf und runter getragen. Das Haus hat einen englischen Charakter. Die Bar war toll. Es sind nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Trotzdem war es sehr ruhig. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr gut und das ganze Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze sind vor dem Gebäude vorhanden. Gerne wieder"

"Hotel located right on the sea board in folkstone right near white cliffs of Dover and Dover castle. It has old charm feel to it. Staff were friendly throughout stay. Room was spacious with amenities. Room clean and bathroom spacious. Parking onsite and right nearby as well. Dining area on site. Loved the look and feel of the hotel. Would recommend!"

"It was such a charming and lovely hotel. My friend and I each booked our own room. The rooms were spacious and had bathtubs, so we were able to relax and unwind. The staff were always very kind and helpful. There were also plenty of great restaurants and cafés within walking distance. It was the perfect place for a short getaway."

"Bedding, towels, bathrooms were all clean but the lodge itself needed a bit of TLC in places. Broome Park is a beautiful setting and the golf is amazing. Loved exploring the nearby areas. Overall a great holiday and at a good price via Expedia 👍"

"What a wonderful hotel,lovely setting,all of the staff were excellent ,professional,friendly and the hotel had a lovely homely feel,would recommend to anyone . The only thing l can say being slightly negative is that the spa in the pool area felt very dated ,and the decor in places throughout the hotel could do with revamping!! Wonderful stay 😊"

"Perfect spot on the sea front. Close to everything. We had dogs, room perfect and staff very friendly. Can walk to shops nearby lots of bars and restaurants. Beautiful walk along the seafront."

"Very old and musty hotel, good luck with the shower barely any shower pressure. Very duty and lingering smell in the bedroom. Additionally their 1980s lift makes an incredible about of noise. Bed is very uncomfortable too."

"A great location in Canterbury. Right next to the cathedral. Clean, well organised room. Full room service each day. Lovely breakfast. Cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants and toast and jam. Bottled water available for guests to take for day trips etc. Great for the hot weather. Staff were very helpful, polite and professional. Highly recommend"
