"Booked this listing, all seemed well. No contact from the property owner, but assumed they’d reach out as we got closer to the trip. The day of check-in, I still had not heard from the owner. I called the number on the VRBO listing and it was clearly a burner phone. Had no way of accessing the property with lack of response. Had to scramble and find new accommodations last minute. I’ve never had such a horrible experience."

"Property is nice, Unfortunately the property is a little dated and the cleaning crew that they have working for them is below subpar. The showers were moldy, the property was picked up but not clean. Hard to sleep in the Master bedroom with all the lights of the harbor and the park. It really has a Great view and located next to a nice family and pet friendly park. In all fairness, we would stay there again but it would be nice for it to be better kept up and cleaned. "Beautiful views! Patio was a little noisy but great views and huge! A lot of seating options.House has plenty of space to spread out for our 9 people family. Neighborhood cat Leo entertained my nieces and nephews! Convenient location, close to the beach (walkable) and shopping (grocery). Front door had locket issues but we used the back door lock and it worked perfectly! Host was very responsive! We had few cleaning issues but overall very nice option! Two minute from hwy 101. "

"This rental is so clean, and we loved the brightness and open floor plan. The backyard view, both day and night, is beautiful! We brought our cornhole boards from home, and it worked perfectly on the side yard. Cooked up some burgers on their grill and enjoyed the view while we ate. The hot tub was nice to relax in later in the evening. The beds were very comfortable, and plenty of pillows. "We had a wonderful weekend getaway to the Ventura area, staying at this lovely property in Saticoy. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and spacious with all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood itself is quiet and safe-feeling. The property is a short drive to everything in the area. "
