"The Tack Hjouse is a charming, rustic, rural (which was so peaceful) one bedroom with a fenced in yard which was perfect for our 2 dogs. It truely is part of a lovely old horse barn.The easy access with no steps and efficient floor plan was perfect for older knees. Our 4 grandsons came out and spent several days and it worked perfectly for them. They hiked, played in the creek (even though it was winter) and gazed at the stars. The large dining table for 6 was just what we needed for playing...

"The entire building needs renovation. Water leak marks in the room ceiling. Tub faucet with slow constant dripping. Breakfast at 6a. 6:15-6-30 dining still close. No breakfast. Stayed 5 nights same everyday. Only donut served. McDonald is nxt door if you want good coffee in AM. AC works ok. Bed is ok..Sheets and towels clean. "Problems at check in. Clerk advised she didn’t normally work front desk. She was in the bathroom when we arrived with a sign out. She was unable to check us in and finally had to do a workaround to get us a key. The tires on the luggage cart were deflated so it was very difficult to roll. My husband mentioned the problem to the clerk and said they need to be inflated. She said, I know they’re horrible. No coffee makers in the room so that was not cool. "The hotel is older but still in good condition. Our room was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. The bed was comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. Check out was also quick. They offered us a trip bag when we checked out with goodies we would need on the road...i.e. water, snacks. Breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from with workers checking on the food and keeping it well stocked. There was plenty of food to choose from. The pool looked clean and inviting...

"Enjoyed our stay. Convenient to the small town w/ a good, local-owned restaurant right across the street. A little traffic noise because the cabin is close to the road but not excessive. Huge grass area behind cabin which was great for our dog to run in. Would stay again. :)"
