"Great set up for our little weekend getaway. Back porch was great to listen to the little stream flowing and the birds chirping while I drank my morning coffee. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace :) Be sure to drive in town and check out Milroy OIP- good food at reasonable price and check out Smoke House Bar and Grill- the loaded potatoes are yummy!"

"Absolutely beautiful location. Restorative and peaceful. Host was excellent and extremely easy to communicate with. Everything was better than expected. So clean and little details were taken care of. A basket of toiletries in the bathroom, their own farm fresh eggs and local fresh milk in the refrigerator waiting. The gorgeous flowers and landscaped walkways and property were top notch. Then you have the mountains and farms as far as you can see. I felt very welcome and appreciated by...

"If I had to leave an honest review; I would say that it would have been a better experience if we would have slept better. We are a little on the plus size, and to sleep in a full size bed was a little too squishy for our comfort level. But that's just our preference. (That's my fault, I did not look at the bed sizes when I booked).Also, it's always nice to have a coffee pot so that people aren't waiting in line to have a cup of coffee; again, just a preference thing for people that are coffee...

"Our stay at the Chestnut Loft was exactly what we wanted it to be: quiet, comfortable, clean, relaxing, and easy to get to. The hosts were easy to contact and responded quickly. They created such a pleasant and peaceful experience! The only downside was most shops being closed on Sundays and Mondays. Other than that, we really enjoyed our long weekend and exploring nearby Lewisburg."
