"My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. We stayed when there were no big events going on, so it was relatively quiet since it's a block away from the noisier Main St. We could, however hear the renters in the main house walking around above us. It was a small kitchen/bathroom space, but was fine for us since we spent most of our time out and about.
