"This property was even more beautiful in person. It was meticulously maintained and perfectly located down an isolated dirt road with other cabins nearby. The walks on the beach and bonfire under the stars were incredible, as was kayaking on the lake. It is relatively centrally located, close to good public beaches on both Great and small lakes, and while you do have to drive to get places - it's the UP - the drives are beautiful and its a great home base for day trips; we went to Pictures...

"Great place to stay as it was central to all we planned to see. Very beautiful scenery. If I was to change anything I believe I would add curtains at west windows. The setting sun shown through making it difficult to see. Definitely not a deal breaker. Looking forward to booking again with Vrbo. "

"Great view! Great location! Awesome wood interior! Worked well for a family road trip. The water smelled but its a cabin in the woods. Got to see live deer and turkeys, as well as some stuffed ones. I accidently went to the wrong cabin and the property manager answered right away and offered great help:D "

"We enjoyed our stay, the location was so quiet and made relaxing by the lake amazing. We took advantage of the kayaks and explored the lake. We were within a half hour to an hour of several waterfalls and other natural wonders. We enjoyed Wagler, Chapel and Mosquito Falls one day, the next day we explored Big Springs and our last day we explored the Picture Rocks area including Miners Castle and Falls. What an amazing gem you have! "

"Such a perfect spot. We took advantage of warm fall weather to kayak, and enjoyed sitting on the dock especially at sunrise. Watched a Bald Eagle feed along the shore. The house is roomy, casual, well loved and welcoming. Nicely stocked kichen and lovely views of the lake. Our dog loved the private yard, and lake too. Incredibly quiet and peaceful and well situated between the two ends of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore on a road ablazz with Fall color. Communication was great, check in...
