Studio Apartment Located in the Center of Downtown Munising

Barbie and Ken's, 2nd level, Studio apartment is conventiently located in the center of Downtown Munising. Just a block away from The Pictured Rocks Boat Tours and walking distance to everything you need. This studio apartment sleeps 4 comfortably with a King bed in the main room right when you walk in, there is also a seating area and a smart TV. The separate room has a fold-out sofa with a full bed and a smart TV as well. The studio also has a small office space if you need a quiet area for working! You do have to go through this office space to get to the bathroom. There is a full bathroom with a shower and a full kitchen. There is 16 stairs to the 2nd level where the apartment is located.

The Falling Rock Cafe and Bookstore is just around the corner. They provide free wireless internet, homemade food with vegan and gluten-free options, custom roasted coffee and gourmet tea, and they have delicious Jilbert’s Dairy Ice Cream! Perfect place to enjoy a light breakfast with coffee or stop for lunch and read a book. Some other great places to check out near by are the Gallery Coffee Company, Down Wind Sports and the Art in the Alley!

Please not this is an aparment in downtown Munising and there is a potential for noise from businesses in the area and general traffic.

** There is a doorbell camera mounted at the top of the steps outside for security purposes.

Nice place but floors were very slanted. Made it hard sometimes to walk, especially when you get up in middle of night. makes you feel off balance.Also only one exit made me feel a little uncomfortable.

This apartment is in great shape & located in the heart of Munising. It’s nice to be able to park the car after a long journey and walk to many bars & restaurants. The stairs to the deck & entrance were no problem for my wife & I. We enjoyed the deck during our stay as the MI climate can be very nice in summer months.

The loft apartment was right downtown, across from the Pictured Rocks boat tour. Park your car and walk to everything! Apt has its own parking spot. Apartment was very clean, however it had a slight cigarette smell when we walked in. Floor slants to the right. One side of the bed was lopsided. In the middle of the night I noticed something flashing on the wall everytime I moved. I thought a camera was watching us. My husband said it was some kind of a nest smoke detector.

Such a beautiful area! Highly recommend a tour with Pictured Rocks Kayaking. Pros: Very clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed. Loved the full kitchen. Conveniently located within walking distance to marina and restaurants. Cons: Overlooked the Family Dollar parking lot and was a bit noisy in the area. Motion activated night light was disruptive to my sleep.

Great location and very clean

This property is in a good location. I stayed for the 4th of july celebrations and fireworks, visiting my daughter. I enjoyed my self and the stay, the space was more than i needed for one person. Very clean and well kept. Pillows and beding were good, i slept well

Quite apartment in the middle of town

Only downside is the stairs to get into the property. Also the floors are a bit unlevel, but the property is all updated and very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Nicely renovated upper studio. Deck stairs to balcony are a bit rough, so watch your hands. Street light from business parking a bit annoying when trying to sleep. Kitchen had all the basics available for use. Great place to use as a "home" base and advenure out around the middle of the penninsula. I would stay again!

Modern and super clean

This place was just what we needed. Super clean and comfortable. Kitchen was perfect, with full-size appliances. Plenty of comfortable sitting areas in separate rooms from the bed. Nice little desk area too. You can walk to many of the restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

Superior Color Tour 24

Very Charming studio layout. Clean, Fresh, Friendly. Great location.Only had an issue with wifi @ 20% in unit. Would stay again, colors at 20%. But weather was 80 and water was calm.
