"This location is perfect if you are looking for peace, quiet, and comfort. Just pulling out of the drive one morning we saw four big bucks and a turkey. Nightime is lit up by the fireflies. "Cabin not clean, no sheets on bed. Someone came to clean, we had to leave for an hour after we contacted the host. Game machine doesn’t work, kids were so disappointed. Tub in bathroom had damaged faucet. Furniture was dirty had to drape blankets over it so we could sit. Rugs were really dirty. Stayed there before and it was really nice, it hasn’t been kept up with."

"The Blue Door door was amazing. We thought it had just been built and ready for renting because everything was pristine. Kim is a terrific host. She sent wonderful ideas about where to visit while in Dahlonega. All beds, including the sleeper sofa were very comfortable. The amenities were great, and the provision of coffee, creamer, etc. was very appreciated.Also wanted to re-thank Kim for allowing us in a bit early. Can’t wait to come back!"

"This cabin is so cozy and clean. My husband and I stayed 3 days and did not want to leave. The AC was great. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. Amazing views of the river and easy river access which is why we came. There’s a deck right on the river. We came specifically to relax and have some peace. This place was 100% peaceful and enjoyable. The host is friendly and very responsive. Definitely recommend and we will book again. "

"the road to approach is dirt/gravel so be aware. cute little cosy cabin. the outdoor fireplace is the best. everything was super clean and comfy. best stocked kitchen in a while. indoor gas fireplace did not work but host gave a small reimbursement so that was ok. linens were nice and everything was provided. not really a quiet place as there was a local barking dog and a bulldozer and a close neighbor, but, we enjoyed ourselves. "

"Excellent location, spacious house with a lovely deck for sitting outside a reading or listening to the birds. Quiet with plenty of deer grazing just outside the window, but only 10-15 minutes from Elijay and other nearby attractions. We had a great time and the host was very accommodating with a last- minute schedule change. Would definitely visit again!"
