Opening and closing the windows was how we controlled the temperature once we got tired of messaging the host every time it needed adjusting. Upgrade to bath towels would be a good investment, otherwise everything was fine. The electric door lock broke and owners were unable to repair it during our stay. There is an interesting book collection in the living area. The office set up is very comfortable; I used it to work remotely all week. The patio area is quiet & peaceful. The property is short drive from the highway & only a 5-minute drive from Wegmans. I would absolutely stay here again if I was in the area."

"A great place to stay! The home was beautiful and rich in culture. On the walls were wonderful pictures and blurbs detailing the significance of the people and local history. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of mugs, dishes and silverware (enough for 12). Across the street is Brandwein's Bagels that taste like they came from NY. We walked one block to Franklin Street where we explored the UNC campus, ate and shopped. We hope to be back soon."
