"We had an amazing stay at Hidden Haven with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog! You can’t beat the location: we got to wake up to Lake Superior views, hear the waves crashing overnight, and could walk a few minutes up the road and be on the North Country Trail for trail runs and hiking. Everything was super clean and comfy and we had everything we needed to have a great few days. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future!"

The location is unbeatable—just one street from the snowmobile trails and close to gas and town. "I guess this could pass as a campsite. If you don’t mind being surrounded by trailers and storage vehicles on the side of a busy rural highway. If you are looking for an up north Mi camping experience you are hereby forwarned this is not the most scenic campsite! Not mad, just disappointed.But everyone’s gotta make a buck I guess. We decided to not stay the night and instead made the 6 hour trek home a day early. "

"There aren’t many options to stay in the UP. This was a little out of the way but the property was well designed and had some nice amenities. That being said, we would not choose to stay here again because of the strong smell of sewer gas. Pros: plenty of space, huge master bath, nice view Cons: pillows were extremely flat, no extra blankets, strong smell of sewer gas"
