"I rented this property for one night to celebrate my boyfriends graduation from college. He had sent me this to look at and we were both completely stunned! Its absolutely amazing, really clean, so easy to navigate to from the expressway, and such a cute place to stay!!! We really appreciated the communication from the host as well!! Thanks again!"

"We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend and this was a perfect location to stay. Enjoyed the peddle boat and outdoor picnic tables. Beautiful sunrise in the morning. Close enough to hit the waterfalls too. Very friendly owners and great local pizza at Trout Lake tavern."

"We spend a great deal of time in the UP, having just graduated our son from LSSU this past weekend. While we could have rented a hotel room for the three nights, I wanted a remote setting with our home feeling and the ability to cook for our son after his graduation. This house is an amazing property, among the best I have stayed within the US as I travel for business as a senior executive. The property is top notch, amazingly clean and they think of everything! "We loved everything about our stay. We had gone up to go to the I-500, but decided to stay right where we were, it was so peaceful and lovely. The host is most generous and very hospitable. "We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!"

"What a perfect trip. This location was great for us, we loved the little trail to the water also. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The hardest part about staying in rental homes is you never know what they have, well, they have it all! We will absolutely stay again."

"It was very clean and communication with the host was quick and friendly. We loved the location and the extra boats we received. The lake is clean and fire pit was nice. We loved watching the ducks and hummingbirds everyday. It's definitely a great place to go!"

"This is a nice small cabin with a great view of the lake. We stayed for one weekend off season but I am sure it is a great place to vacation in the summer. It has everything you need, very clean, and the hosts go out if their way to make sure you are comfortable. It is an upgrade from camping but if luxury is your style, it isn’t for you."

"The one-room cabin was overall wonderful. The view of the Trout Lake is beautiful, and the cabin is centrally located for any destination you want to get to. The host was polite, and answered every question or concern we had almost immediately. The little heater in the bathroom was a big plus. Towels and blankets were plentiful and the entire cabin was cleaned with some cooking utensils which made making dinner easy. Overall amazing stay!"

"The 2 of us came up here with our 2 dogs for a long weekend. The cabin was just as pictured and had everything we needed from a fan in the master to toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels and the gas grill was even ready to go! We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake, sunsets and sunrises, long walks on the beach and we were even lucky enough to catch a small glimpse of the northern lights! We traveled an hour away from the cabin to check out Tequamenon falls which in the summer or falls...
