"Glitter on one of the beds, no table or chair, only available outlet was behind one of the beds and a hole in the wall where possibly a smoke detector might have been. Did have a half sized mini fridge, full size microwave on top of it and coffee pot on top of that, towels and cable tv."

"I was not told until I checked in and paid that there was no elevator and I had to lug my stuff up 2 fights of stairs. I am physically able but at times travel with older folks who would not be able to do that. I got there late and the vending machine on 2nd floor did not work to get drinks. I told the desk next day. Breakfast was fresh and food area very clean. Maybe a few food items for those who arrive late to buy would be good. "

"The room was not worth the cost. Thankfully we only needed it for 1 night for a wedding nearby but the bed was awful. Check in was confusing, it was at the bar. We could deal with it being less eye appealing if the price matched it. Would not recommend. "

"This was the ideal place for what I needed. Total disconnect from everything! We were greeted by Dave, really nice guy. He oriented us to the cabin and surroundings. Cabin was very clean, welcoming, and looked like the pics. Dave had the wood burning stove going for us. The property is nestled in acres of wooded landscape. The next day we hiked for 4+ hrs, exploring as much as possible. I didn't want to leave. I will definitely go back!"

"This was first time using Vrbo, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However my expectations, were far exceeded. When we first arrived, the host was extremely friendly, and noted places to go and eat. When we arrived at the cabin, it was exactly how it looks in the pictures. He, once again explained everything in detail how allof it works. The host was very informative. The cabin it self was great, and private. The only noise we heard was the water going downstream. There was a train, nearby. However...

"The view was amazing, however, the cabin was very rustic—one step above tent camping. Floor littered with dead bugs, hanging dirty dishes. Basic bathroom accommodations quite a distance away. The horses were beautiful and trail-ride was great. The trail included a varied terrain. Loved the incorporation of yoga"

"We had a great stay overall. The staff was genuinely accommodating and very friendly, which made a big difference. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, tasty, and well organized. The pool was a bit on the cold side, and the jacuzzi jets were very strong (definitely more “hydro-massage” than relaxing soak). That said, everything was working, clean, and well maintained. Despite those minor points, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we’d happily come back"

"The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking. The lighting could be improved throughout the house. With 6 bedrooms, there is plenty of seating for dining-note the two tables are in separate rooms. The furniture throughout is adequate. Plenty of seating in the LR and porch areas. The house was clean - if you have high expectations please remember this is a house in a rural & forested area, there will be spiders. We only saw a few. The location is really cool - very quiet, lots of stars. nearest...

"The house is huge and full of charm. Each room had dry shampoo and deodorant and the bathrooms were fully stocked with anything you could possibly need! Would absolutely stay again. Also! We saw an adorable frog in the pond. Amazing."

"Historical, convenient and parking all at the edge of campus. As a 1970s alumni staying at the Big Tree Inn was the icing on a great visit to the campus."
