"Second time staying at this gem! The owner is very responsive and informative! House is super clean, Stocked with items you would normally bring yourself. Will definitely be back! Several Wineries near by, Float the James River, the cute town of Scottsville is 10 minutes away."

"The cabin is warm a cozy and we loved the pond. The homeowners are great and if you have any questions the call right back."

"This property was lovely. My wife and I very much enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the views. The property was well kept and had an upscale feel to it. We enjoyed the peaceful evenings out on the front porch and the hot tub. My only complaint was that the kitchen was not very well stocked with "normal kitchen" stuff. There was no sponges for washing dishes and a standard spa chela. Not a big deal, but attention to detail matters. I would recommend a restocking of those small kitchen items...

"Fantastic place to stay for two or a small family. Lots of fish, deer, and wildlife. Easy instructions to get in. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond. I highly recommend this little tucked away gem."

"Great place to stay! Only a 25 min ride from Charlottesville!"

"Perfect location for solitude and nature while still close to UVA, Monticello, and convenience shopping. Walked the trail to the creek and enjoyed the fire pit. Great dinner at Sedona (Tap House?) in Charlottesville and visited Monticello. Would definitely stay again. Cozy and quiet location. Easy check-in. Convenient."

"Great location, peaceful, quiet and very relaxing. The accommodations were very good but could use some improvements. I will definitely use this location again."

"The home was perfect. Beautiful setting, clean, attentive hosts - with easy access to Mt. Ida Vineyard. We could walk to the Tasting Room to enjoy wine and delicious food. We even hosted a cocktail party at the vineyard for friends -- and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. A wonderful stay. "

My family and I would stay there again! Thank you Pam and George!"

Huge refrigerator upstairs and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and clean house"
