"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Birthday Getaway! I had an amazing birthday getaway at Postcard Cabins Shenandoah! From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. The staff were great, the property was clean and well-maintained, and all of the amenities were amazing. One of the things I appreciated most was how well-equipped the cabin was. I packed so many things that I ended up not needing because they already had everything provided! Towels, washcloths, utensils, coffee, pots and pans, dishes, paper...

"Smoke detector missing off of the wall, had living bug on sheet when I pulled the bed open. Smelled extremely musty and had black mold in the bathroom. Cigarette stains on tub and sink. Dripping stains down the walls. Water stains on the ceilings. Burn holes through blankets on the bed. No trashcan in bathroom. Owners said they just acquired the property a few months ago so hopefully they will turn the place around."

"Stayed here for a weekend while hiking Old Rag in Shenandoah. Cozy little place that was well equipped with all the amenities we needed! It's conveniently located close to Shenandoah as well as plenty of vineyards. Would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in the area!"

"I enjoyed the space and accommodation. I was a bit overrun by large black ants, lady bugs and a few wasp. Constantly killing and sweeping. The lodge restaurant and pavilion were enjoyable."

"The employees were lovely. The view was incredible. The staff in the restaurant were so so wonderful. We loved the themed rooms and o can’t reiterate how lovely and accommodating staff was. When we got to room, we checked the beds for bed bugs as we always do and found that one of the encasements were broken and there were millipedes all over the floor. "Was looking for a nice quiet getaway to spend some time with my mom, and Nick’s place was perfect! Everything was clean and as described and a reasonable distance for little day trips into Charlottesville. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the sunset over the mountains and the lightning bugs coming out at night. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!"

"Very nice clean cabin, with a great view from the top of the mountain. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. It is somewhat remote from any shops and restaurants, so plan your trips accordingly. We enjoyed the quiet mornings, fun family day trips (Lurray Caverns, hiking and driving Skyline Drive), and peaceful evenings. The host will introduce you to the horses and allow you to pet and feed them (with supervision)."

"Property is nestled in the woods with a lovely sitting area on the back deck. We could hear peleated woodpeckers and barred owls calling back and forth to each other. Very peaceful. You definitely need 4WD to get to the cabin. The kitchen was well equipped but the dishwasher was broken. We liked the proximity to the national park. "
