"The hotel has gone way downhill since my last stay years ago. It used to be the nicest place to stay in the area. It is now mainly used for Gov employees who are working on the new lock and DNR officers. A/c did not work in our room and the central air unit wouldn’t shut off. We had to open the windows because it was so hot in there. I would think twice about staying here as a visitor/tourist."

"This motel has no office or staff onsite, which at first may confuse guests, but they were very responsive when messaged online (to make sure they knew we were bringing a dog with us). The suite consists of one enormous room, with large, comfortable beds, two sofas (sofa beds), TV screen, a table for two, and a kitchen with full sized fridge, sink, coffee maker, two burners, microwave and toaster oven, well-enough equipped for cooking breakfast. "The motel has been completely redone recently and it was wonderful! It was so clean. ( Probably one of the cleanest I have stayed.) The owner was very friendly. It was so centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. Would DEFINITELY stay there again!"

"The playground is very unsafe with the large slide almost completely disconnected from the top (all screws on left side disconnected and slide hanging off). They didn’t have any facial tissue in the room, not even an empty box. They didn’t have any cribs available for infants. This place left a lot to be desired, since we were only there for a night it was passable. The managers were kind but not terribly adept. "Nothing unique about this place. It was next to a Best Western, both owned by same person/persons. Ours was worst of the two, right next to each other. Across large parking lot. We could use pool in better one and breakfast was in better one, but had to go over there to use it. Started out with toilet seat loose and had to have them tighten it, mount bolts were hard to reach. A small sink was plugged up, they got it unplugged when they fixed toilet seat. Found two roaches in bathroom on 2nd. to...

"I liked the quietness of the property but it did smell a little musty."

"Property was decent and comfortable. The layout worked and added separation for two sleeping areas. The decor gave off a modern vibe. There was a lack of attention to the details though, leaving things looking unfinished. For example, the ice maker didn't make ice and there wasn't an alternative ice tray to make ice, one of the electrical outlet in the kitchen didn't work, and other small things."
