"The room (#7) was on the upper floor and had views of the beach to the lighthouse. It was good value, well maintained, had a comfortable bed and general amenities for a pleasant stay. We stayed three nights, and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Geraldton."

"Not really an enjoyable stay, our neighbour had the drivers window of her car smashed, and this happened to three other vehicles in the same night. We went over for dinner, okay we hadn’t booked, but the waitress asked us to wait while she set a table, 20 minutes later we left without ever seeing her again. We would have happy to book if the check in recephas advised us too. Very, very noisy, you can her people talking through the walls, shocking."

"Had trouble finding reception to check in and then couldn’t park close to our room at all. I feel there weee a lot more cars there than there were rooms occupied!!"

"A lovely, helpful lady greeted us. It's an older-style backpackers' accommodation with great kitchen facilities. However, don't do what I did and put everything in the kitchen. At midnight, I needed a bottle for my one-year-old and didn't realize the kitchen would be closed. Thankfully, my baby was content with strawberry milk. There's a first time for everything. We'll definitely be back in the future."

"Evening meal at Bob’s Boutique Bar was sensational, we shared several courses with quality ingredients and chef assembled. Blackboard menu you need to see on site, not on website. But very comprehensive. Birthday gifts given on the night a nice thoughtful touch. Left my phone behind but safely stored ready for me to wake up! Safe upper level parking. Great location in centre of town."

"An absolutely amazing place and it was a great pleasure to have been able to stay here especially with my dog. I enjoyed learning about the building and the incredible man who had foresight to come to Australia and create many special houses. Whilst staying at the Hermitage we dined at The Emerald restaurant just across the road. If you get a chance go and enjoy their delicious menu."

"Great little house with parking secured behind gates enough for a few cars to fit in. Beautifully styled and the kitchen had all the staples which is very convenient. The only thing that I can think for an improvement would be a dryer and maybe a fold away dryer/airer. It rained nearly the whole time we were there so that would have been more convenient than the rack in the bathroom but that is a very minor issue. Big thumbs up would book again."
