Left me strained and looking for a place to stay. VRBO was unhelpful at helping look or to offer to pay for place for me to stay for a night or two."

"If you’re a neat freak, you may want to keep looking; however, it’s got great sleeping space for the price. The house has had some updates but is still in need of some renovations. The sheets and linens all seemed new and were nice which was a positive. They have added some touches to make your stay comfortable like fans and A/C units to adjust the temperature how you like it. "The property had many accommodations and activities to do during the stay. From the living/sleeping spaces, the game room, and the outdoor spaces. There was plenty to do. The water was lower than shown in the photo (the water was not close to the dock like the photo, had to walk to get to the shore). Host had good communication and answered all questions. Highly recommend unless the water level is a deal breaker."

"Even though the lake level is down considerably, this home has an fantastic view! Very relaxing indeed. Our host was incredibly response to my all too many inquiries and never missed a beat. The house was clean and very comfortable both inside and out. It is clearly our host's second home, with all of the homey personal touches, rather than some stock vacation rental investment property. I look forward to renting this property again. IT WAS WONDERFUL!"

"This property is perfect for working crews in the Refugio area. We were able to park our equipment on site and felt comfortable with it there. The owners were extremely flexible with our group and our trip days. We really enjoyed the outdoor setting with the outside cooking options since everyone felt relaxed outside after work. The bunk houses for extra accommodations worked well for our time there. We definitely recommend staying here."
