"This place has character! The location is also excellent!"

"Wonderful stay, extremely clean rooms, lovely staff, great restaurant, highly recommend"

"Room was overall clean however some stains were present on the carpet and some furniture. There was no free water in our room at least - only canned water which was for sale only. The pool was freezing cold in October - heating would greatly help. Staff was lovely and service was fast. Location is amazing and easy to walk to mostly everything you could want."

"It is a very basic hotel room. So as long as you’re not expecting any luxuries, or anything fancy in your room you will be happy."

"Not the first time we’ve here; won’t be the last."

"Excellent motor inn for an over stay, close the the Hume Freeway exits."

"Everything was great, clean and spacious. The bathtub in the room was a great experience and definitely worth the extra. It's also in walking distance to a big park, botanical garden and many restaurants."

"Not a nice place to stay with family."

"A very affordable room that was probably due for some upgrades. Lumpy pillows and rather tired furnishings but overall reasonably comfortable. Easy walk to fabulous restaurant strip. Helpful staff and new management seemed to be still learning the ropes."

"We felt like we were living back in history and just loved the feel and comfort of this very well maintained motel. The shower was fantastic!!! Strong water pressure really gave us a great wake-up and revitalisation. We’ll be staying there again."

"Get some decent toilet paper!"

"Very nice large rooms with first class bathrooms, and a comfortable bed. The Club is undergoing an extension, so the motel reception was relocated, which took me about 10 mins to work out where to go, but I persevered and the stay was very pleasant. Don't ask the workmen where reception is because they have no idea."

"Would not encourage anyone to stay here"

"Pleasant customer service and was a good stay."

"Great location. Nice and clean property but uncomfortable mattress."

"Nice size room and ensuite. Good supply of bathroom supplies. The only cooking appliance was a microwave."

"Easy stop on our way home from Sydney."
