"This must be the best motel I have stayed at. Friendly check in. Easy to have a meal at the adjoining pub with friendly staff. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. No dust bunnies under the bed. Our stay was for overnight to make the final drive to catch the ferry so much more relaxing. A late checkout was no problem. It is off the main A1 highway so very quiet. I highly recommend a stay."

"The lodgings, food and service was fantastic! I felt like I was in a Jane Austin film and loved every second. The room was updated, comfortable and very cozy for the winter. The food at the resturant was the best meal we had in Tassie and would come back again just for that. Staff were friendly and overall a 5 star experience."

"Directions provided don't take you to the cottage. Bed was way too soft. And the roosters at 4am crowing were super annoying. "

"Very cute cottage to stay in and not far out of town. Only thing that we didn’t love was the single bed next to the stairs both of our kids were too scared to sleep in it."

"😀 Das Charles Reuben Estate ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr geräumig mit einem besonderen Flair. Es ist in einer ruhigen Weingegend angesiedelt. 🙁 Wir wollten den BBQ benutzen, dieser war aber derart schmutzig, dass wir unser Stück Fleisch in der Pfanne gebraten haben. Schade dass beim Schlafzimmer kein Badezimmer vorhanden ist, wer ab und zu in der Nacht raus muss hat nicht gerade Freude die Treppen hinunter und wieder hinauf."

"We recently stayed at a property that had some promising features, but unfortunately, the condition of the rooms was not up to par. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the house had not been cleaned. The most unsettling discovery was the presence of spiders throughout the entire house. This made for a very uncomfortable experience, as we had to spend our first night dealing with and eliminating them. While the property itself had potential, the lack of cleanliness and the spider...

"Owner friendly and welcoming. Lovely, comfortable cottage. The bed was very confy and all rooms spaciousWe also enjoyed all the extras, port, fudge, shortbread & wine etc. Good range of teas & pod coffee. Only 1 star less was dirtydue to some dirtydishes and pots as well as the coffee thrfrother"

"Lovely hosts, both Kim and Sharon, this was the best part of the stay. We had the cabin with 2 bedrooms which are great for our family of 4. We fed the farm animals once during our 2 day stay which was lovely. Nice fresh bread for breakfast was such a nice touch."

"Comfortable accommodation though the bed was a little hard. Pet friendly but surprised the area surrounding the cottage was not fenced so the dog had to be tied up. The grass needed to be mown and was concerned there could be snakes lurking in the long grass. Overall, a good place to stay, quiet and a 20 minute walk into Richmond."

"Overall, the property condition is average. Some areas will need repair, and there’s still much room for improvement. One thing I didn’t like was that on the first day of check-in there was a very strong curry smell throughout the house. I had to open the windows to air it out, but the smell was still present and didn’t fully go away during our stay."
