"Parking was full when I arrived and I was told to park down the hill by the river. There was a graduation party and they were busy. I am a single 60 year old and was expected to lugg all my luggage up a hill on my own, I said I can't do that and was eventually told to park my car outside the hotel. At $65.00 per day fees that's not good enough. I lost my credit card an hour earlier so I had already paid for the hotel but I needed the card for deposit, I had plenty of cash but was told they do...

"I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked my room at Ibis, but I have to say how amazing this whole place is. The reception staff were so helpful, guiding me to the closest laundromat and also where to park. Although I wasn’t at the hotel for long I am happy to say I had such a peaceful sleep, the bed was so comfortable, everything was so clean and fresh, plus it’s nice and close to the airport. "A fair walk to public transport but the CAT bus service is free and extensive. It was good to have access to the laundry. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only down side to the room was the tv screen being behind the sofa so to watch tv you have to view it in a mirror ahead of you. An enjoyable visit to a lovely city. Would stay there again."

"The check-in was comfortable, the room was clean, logistics and elevators were in very good operating condition. The only drawback was lack of parking - the property was right in the middle of the city's high end shopping area with LV, Gucci, D&G, Rolex, Longines and a series of other top end brands surrounding the hotel. The walk to the train station was very comfortable but having to hire a car meant $30 per day extra costs."

"Fantastic location on the waterfront. We had a great view of the Swan from our 15th floor room. Rooms are great. A couple of minuses: breakfast is poor and overpriced, much better to eat out on the quay; and some staff members were confused and inefficient. But a nice hotel in a lovely place."

"Kind of a weird smell"

"Knowledgeable and helpful staff (thankyou Deb!). Everything was clean and tidy and the rooms are as advertised. Not all washing machines in the laundry were in working order which delayed me doing my washing, but this did not have a huge impact to the trip."
