"The hotel is conveniently located near marvel stadium, Spencer street shops & southern cross station. Great value for money if you’re just looking for a bed & that’s it. We stayed in a family room which was literally a hallway, 2 bedrooms off the hallway, a fridge & bathroom. No living area or couch. It didn’t bother us as we weren’t there much, but not sure I’d call it a family suite."

"Beautifully designed hotel with very generously sized rooms, and fantastic amenities. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, however bar staff were rude. Really love the hotel, but soundproofing between rooms is terrible - had to change rooms because of noise, but both rooms had the same noise problem."

"At checkout, I was told at the second-floor reception that I could leave my luggage on the ground floor. However, there was no staff present there. I left my suitcase, took a photo for reference, and went out. When I returned, it had been taken. I understand that I am partially responsible, but I wish I had been informed in advance that a luggage tag was required. Security at the entrance also seemed limited, and I felt it could be improved. Additionally, I did not feel the surrounding area was...

"The parking was $70 per night which we weren’t told about when checking in. The service from the front desk was terrible. I emailed the hotel about the high price of the parking and no one responded. We’ve stayed at the Dorsett Gold Coast many times and only ever pay $20 parking. I wouldn’t stay there again"

"This property has so much going for it. Location, incredible view, amenities, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable bed with great outlook. My only criticism is the size of the bathroom. Very small without storage space. I would look at booking a 2b/r 2 bathroom apartment for 4+ guests next time I book. But overall, great accommodation, close to lots of great restaurants and bars, close to the train station and trams. Would stay again. "
