"We were completely shocked at the state of the room. We requested the best they had, yet there were dead bugs on the sheets, a blood stain on the bed! And toothbrush residue splattered all over the bathroom mirror. We took pictures and I let the staff (a woman who remained on her phone during the entire conversation) know. I showed her the issues and she simply nodded and nothing else. We quickly left and ran next door to the Rusa hotel and stayed there. I don't understand how Expedia partnered...

"Our stay at the Grand Hyatt was absolutely beautiful — so peaceful, yet very family-oriented. Our daughter loved the kids club and the waterslide, and the pool areas were pristine. "Best buffet breakfast ever. Loads of options no matter what your diet. The beach wasn’t the cleanest, but the access was easy and there was sand at the pool to give that “on the beach” effect. Pool was heated. Service was TOP TIER. Very safe, they had military-like guards at the entrance and you have to drive a lil ways to get in. Comfy beds. Cleanliness was ehn. Could’ve been better, but not bad. I would go back TOMORROW if I could. "

"The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s a beautiful serene hotel in the heart of the rainforest. Our villa had an infinity pool which was beautiful and the outdoor hotel infinity pools were also phenomenal. We couldn’t get into the spa as it was booked out but that would have been excellent too. We had an amazing time at this resort and the service was phenomenal. "

"This was a great hotel. Staff always polite and helpful. The Hotel is clean as the rooms. Security was superior. Food was fresh, plentiful and variety was eceptional. Pool was easy to acess and clean. Close to beach and restaurants and heaps of shops. The area is not busy if you like it a bit quieter. I fully recommend this hotel to others. "

"You can’t go beyond the bungalows which are private and quiet but ask for one not on road side. This is our second visit and the only minor complaint I could say that the pool staff use to walk around offering food and beverage menus but this time we had to go up to the bar to order. This is being very picky, but it was a very nice and appreciated Service that does not seem to exist now. Other than that, we absolutely love this place."

"Vi var på bryllupsrejse og boede på Aksari en uge. Hotellet er smukt og ligger meget roligt væk fra by og støj. Vi havde booket en af deres to villaer, de ligger “afsides” fra de resterende værelser på hotellet. Der var fra og ro, i den forstanden at der ikke var støj fra de andre gæster. Dog er der en lille flod som løber langs med hotellet, og der kan man tydeligt høre vandet plaske - det var dog ikke en gene for os, men værd at nævne hvis man er lyd sensitiv.
