Exemplary coastal mediterranean construction aptly characterized by expansive open living spaces as well as incredible, permanent unobstructed Gulf views. This five bedroom beach side manor in the gated community of Destiny West has been extensively renovated and remodeled, outfitted with exceptional upgrades including a private elevator.

The open floor plan was thoughtfully designed with the kitchen, living and dining room ideally located on the second floor overlooking the unobstructed views of the white sand beaches & emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Lots of cozy couches and seating, make it easy to entertain large groups during your vacation and spend time making memories together.

The ample size master suite occupies the entire third story and is defined by floor to ceiling windows to soak in the gulf views as well as an expanded private balcony. The master bathroom is ensuite and features a large walk-in shower, marble accents, walk-in closet as well as a private wet bar.
Other notable features include: ample parking as well as a single stall garage, separate guest suite complete with a kitchenette & full bathroom, expansive porches on each level as well as gulf & lake views from every bedroom.

This property features a PRIVATE pool and hot tub (both can be heated for an additional fee $).

Destiny West is a gated community adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico flanked by coastal lakes and features tennis courts, gorgeous community grounds & pool area, entertaining space, lakefront gazebo as well as centrally located near all of the world class shopping, dining & entertainment that Destin has to offer. The public beach access is directly across the street complete with showers, restrooms and a boardwalk.
The community clubhouse includes a lagoon-style pool, fitness center, and basketball and tennis courts.

It is a Destiny West community rule that all golf carts can only be rented from the local company DESTIN ELITE CARTS for a discount.

Needs new cleaning service. Communications with host were slow to respond. Needs repairs. Needs new rugs. Pool was not cleaned. Exterminator needs to come in. Shower head in double queen room needs replacing. Stove needs to be replaced. Wobbly chairs at dining table. Bed on entrance floor needs repair. Overall the house needs to be upgraded.

The house is a perfect size for a big group. The house is just steps away from the beach. The house is clean. The only downside is that the pool was not clean, so we didn’t get to use it during our stay.

The house was beautiful and a great location for my bachelorette trip. The only issue we had was that even at 4 pm when checking in they were still cleaning, but the house wasn’t very clean when we got there. We found that the sheets in the pool house were not clean and still full of sand and hair. A lot of the things in the house were broken and worn down, items like the blinds in the pool house were un able to open. The remotes were broken, we also would have loved to have had a type of book that explained how to turn on the speakers that were throughout the house. The pool was also dirty and all of the lounge chairs were broken and ripped and unable to sit on. The wagon in the garage was also broken and extremely difficult to use on the beach. Overall it was a pretty house but had a lot of stains on the rugs and wear and tear to it that could have been made better.
Sheets in pool house were dirty. The girls had to sleep on towels the first night and had to wash the bedding the next morning.

Beach view :great view. Balcony:nice and clean. Pool:was not ready when we got there.It was pretty dirty. Hot tub :we didn’t get to use it because they told us to pay extra to turn the hot water.It didn’t make any sense for me to pay for that.Over all we had a great time,but I wish they could of cleaned this place better.

Hot tub was cold even after having heat turned on several lights throughout the house didn't work especially out side grill gas tank empty kitchen range had burnt out burner several chairs in dining area broken or very unstable also small table in pool area had leg broken off just needs attention

Want so much to give this a better rating

I wanted so much to give this rental a 5 review. The time my family had together was nothing short of amazing. The house is in the best location and neighborhood. The space we had for each family was perfect, but there were many things that really need to be addressed, the chairs in the dining area were broken, the house never felt clean, elevator shaft had water from the rain going through it like a waterfall the mattresses were not comfortable, the exterminator needs to service this address. That is all I want to say about that. The pool was great for everyone. All in all the time was used as it should have been and everyone had a wonderful time! We agreed that this rental would be given a 3.5 stars.

Nice location - lots of small inconveniences

Nice location! Community ammenities (pool, courts) were really nice. Lots of room for large group, short walk to beach, great view of gulf, great balconies! Experienced many small annoyances (incorrect gate/bike/pool codes provided, lots of trash in/around trash bins, no intermediate heat for the pool as it was either too hot or too cold, lots of things broken (2 kitchen chairs, little wooden table by pool, some shelves in closets, bathroom door in guest bath, kitchen cabinet doors and kitchen drawers, bike handlebar was loose, grill igniter didn’t work). Replies to reported issues were frequently delayed (up to a couple days) and some information provided was incorrect. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Expecting more for the price.
