"Kudos to the two staff members who were there (at different times) during our one-night stay. Both were very helpful and friendly. As for the property, it is a rather typical lower end chain hotel, though it has what was needed and is inexpensive. The hotel itself is a bit isolated, but it has a bar and restaurant (which we did not try)."

"We just returned from staying a night at The Langley. What a wonderful stay it was. The staff from reception to the housekeeping were so friendly and courteous and the room was spotless. The spa, gym, pool and steam room were superb too. We had dinner there and the waiters and waiting staff were very attentive and it was first class service. "Our group booked 7 rooms for over 13 nights at this hotel during a major community congregation taking place in London. We paid over £140 per room per night, despite the hotel’s usual rates typically being around £75-£80 per night. We understood that prices increase during busy periods and were willing to pay the premium rates in exchange for a comfortable stay and good service. Unfortunately, the experience we received was completely unacceptable and was one of the worst hotel stays our family...

"Couldn’t fault the room, it was clean and spacious. What I would say is avoid the restaurant, we found the food inedible. We ordered chicken korma and garlic naan… the “naan” was a greasy, oily chipati and as for the korma, not sure what part of the chicken it was but taste and texture was just plain wrong As for the creamy korma sauce, we were served green, runny sauce with no flavour whatsoever. Just awful, we couldn’t eat it, just paid the bill and ate elsewhere. AVOID at all costs."
