Artfully Enjoy Comfort, Charme and Culture in a spacious loft and private garden

The apARTment is comfortable, specially designed vacation home on the former island Wieringen. The combination of design and art with decorated interior and authentic scenery - Wadden Sea, IJsselmeer forest and fishing - makes a stay at unique. It is the ideal 'relaxation spot "to enjoy both inside and out.
Because of its central location in the north of North Holland are easy to make excursions to both the North Sea beach, the islands and Friesland as the cities of Alkmaar, Hoorn, Leeuwarden and Amsterdam.
The property is situated on the outskirts of the fishing village Den Oever Wieringen in the rolling countryside, near the fishing port and dam. Within walking distance of The apARTment will find you the nature of the Wadden Robbenoordbos and the IJsselmeer beach.
You can sail on the Amstelmeer or IJsselmeer, but also go on excursions with the wad to look seals. The varied environment is ideal for cycling.
The apartment is spacious and independent house, designed and realized by artist / designer Joost Speet. For fans, it is an opportunity to recreate the midst of ever-changing "beautiful things".
There is also a selection of artworks hostess Constance Wegewijs and more - known and appreciated - artists.

Eine wahrhaft außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Wir wurden mit Wein und Käse begrüßt und hatten wunderbare Gespräche mit Joost und Constance. Ihre Kunstobjekte und die Gestaltung machen die Wohnung einzigartig. Eine Führung durch Joosts Atelier ist unbedingt empfehlenswert.Auch ansonsten ist Den Oever ein charmanter Ort. Im Hafen kann man lecker essen, ein Supermarkt ist in der Nähe und wenn das Fahrrad mal kaputt geht, gibt es einen sehr freundlichen Fahrradhändler in der Nähe, der schnell und unkompliziert alles wieder repariert, selbst an seinem eigentlich freien Tag. Kurzum, wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche bei schönstem Sommerwetter.

Wunderbarer , erholsamer Aufenthalt.Sehr nette aufmerksame Gastgeber und eine Wohnung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt.Wir haben jeden Abend gekocht, es war alles vorhanden. Vor allem durften wir das Atelier von Joost besuchen und die sehr interessanten und wirklich einzigartigen Werke betrachten. Vielen Dank dafür!!!!Wir haben den Garten genutzt und auch mit den angebotenen Fahrrädern waren wir unterwegs. Herrliche Landschaft und ein wirklich reizender Ort.Wir kommen wieder!!!!‘

Einrichtung komplett selbst gebaut,von Küche bis Badezimmer. Es gibt keine 2 Schlafzimmer wie angegeben. Es wirkt eher wie eine Jugendherberge.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Das Haus war wunderschön - übertraf unsere Erwartungen bei weitem. Die Vermieter waren supernett. Da wir gerne an den Strand gehen, fuhren wir bis an die Nordsee 26 km. Kleine Strände gibt es auch vor Ort. Der Ort ist sehr schön für Spaziergänge und es gibt einige Restaurants, die gut aussehen. Tante Tietje und den Fischkiosk können wir wärmstes empfehlen.

A great place for perfect relaxation

The accommodation offers everything you need for a perfect vacation. Central location in North Holland, quietly situated in a side street. Good starting point for excursions around the IJssselmeer, Wadden Sea, Friesland, Noord-Holland, Texel and much more. The hosts are very nice, courteous and happy to fulfill additional requests and give great tips for excursions in the area. We felt very comfortable for three weeks and say THANK YOU to the owners Constance and Joost :-)

Unterkunft wie auf den Fotos. Sehr schöne Lage und wunderschöner Garten

Check in und Kommunikation mit Vermieter war super. Joost und Constance sind sehr nett und sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Joost gab uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge, da das Wetter sehr regnerisch war. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man benötigt. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. 👍☺️

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Joost und Constanze sind sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber gewesen. Die Ausflugtipps waren sehr hilfreich, sodass wir Land und Leute besser kennengelernt haben. Sehr gut in Erinnerung bleiben uns der Ausflug nach Texel, nach Amsterdam und Alkmaar. Lieber Joost und liebe Constance, es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt bei euch, den wir sehr genossen haben. Vom herzlichen Empfang über kleine Willkommensgeschenke bis hin zur steten Freundlichkeit und vielen guten Tipps für Unternehmungen. Und euer The apARTment ist eine ganz besondere Unterkunft, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen. Es war alles da, was man brauchte um sich rundherum wohlzufühlen. Viele schöne Ausflüge wie z. B. das schöne Örtchen Twisk, die Insel Texel, Alkmaar, eine Kanutour in euren schönen Wasserlandschaften und das bunte Amsterdam sowieso... und und und werden uns in guter Erinnerung bleiben. Vielen Dank für diesen besonderen Aufenthalt in Mitten eurer Kunstwerke und die Einblicke in euer Künstlerdasein. Einfach nur wow!

Viel Platz im Künstlerhaus

Großzügige Wohnung, sehr kreativ und mit vielen Kunstobjekten des Vermieters ausgestattet. Viel Platz für 2 Leute. Nette, kleine Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln, an der nur ab und zu Autos vorbeifahren. Fahrräder können sehr günstig gemietet werden. Alle touristisch interessanten Orte in Nordholland mit dem Auto gut erreichbar, gute Gastronomie im Hafen, Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Einmaliges Erlebnis

Ein außergewöhnliches und beeindruckendes Urlaubserlebnis. Nicht nur die Größe mit ca. 120 qm auch die Raumaufteilung und Einrichtung des Hauses sind bemerkenswert. Super ausgestattete Küche ,TV , Grill... Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen und hat auch noch einen schönen Garten der zum Verweilen einlädt. Man kann sich super entspannen und abschalten. Die Gastgeber Constance und Joost sind wahnsinnig hilfsbereit und unterstützen immer sofort. Man sollte sich auch unbedingt das Artelier von Joost zeigen lassen. Es war eine wirklich beeindruckende Woche für uns. Sehr empfehlenswert. Svenja und Jürgen

Ontspanning en genieten op een mooie locatie

Het appartement biedt alle comfort voor een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf. De keuken is goed uitgerust en de bedden waren uitstekend. We werden gastvrij ontvangen en kregen diverse tips betreffende de omgeving. Den Oever is een prima uitvalsbasis voor mooie fiets- en wandeltochten. De rondleiding van Joost door het atelier was buitengewoon interessant en bij vertrek kregen we van Constance eigengemaakte jam mee - een hele leuke verrassing. Kortom, een aanrader!

Tolle Unterkunft

Sehr nette Vermieter, sehr umfangreich ausgestattet und tolles Ambiente durch die Loft - artige großzügige Wohnung mit viel Platz und geschmackvoller Einrichtung mit zahlreichen Bildern und ausgefallenen Möbeln. Die Lage ist hervorragend, einerseits sehr ruhig, andererseits sind Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sehr nah.
