We traveled across Afsluitdijk while touring in the Netherlands. It was truly impressive to see how the small nation has kept the sea at bay (no pun intended). At this stop near the middle of the structure, there is some history that explains how each stone was installed by hand, along with a great many other impressive metrics. Worth the trip.

Den Oever is the last village before you go accros the 32 km Afsluitdijk, which separates the IJsselmeer from the Waddenzee. Erg goed, we kregen een upgrade voor dezelfde prijs. Vriendelijk personeel en schone kamer. Voor herhaling vatbaar. 4 sterren ipv 5 omdat de douche niet warm genoeg kon. Erg jammer want opwarmen omdat we het koud hadden zat er niet in.

Großzügig, Hauptschlafzimmer riecht muffig, sowie das danebenliegende kleine 2 fach Bettzimmer, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig, Küche und Wohnbereich sind nett gemacht. Preis/Leistung passt nicht. Vermieter sehr angenehm .
