"This was a lovely place to stay while in the Adirondacks. It has been completely updated. It is VERY clean and has all the necessities. Dishes, dish soap, and paper towels in the kitchenette. We were very pleasantly surprised by how great this was. There was no staff on site so that was confusing at first because I missed the email with check in instructions but I called the number they provided and someone answered and helped us immediately. We will stay here again."

"Unique location, lodge and rooms have character. Quick drive to whiteface mountain. The restaurant has a good vibe and was packed on Saturday night. Kids liked the game room. Staff was helpful when we needed some extra service in the room. "

"Excellent treatment from the owners of the hotel, they are a young american couple, they did everything to make us feel at home. They are doing a great job with restoration of this very nice hotel. They also offered bicycles, and wonderful continental breakfast during weekends."

"Sonia and Steve are the best hosts ever! They made us feel at home and Sonia's cooking is super good. The owners on the other hand are not so gracious, we wanted to make our stay shorter since ski conditions were nit the best and Sonia talk to them but they were un flexible about the issuse abd did not let us cancelled the other days. But how Sonia and Steve treat us and pamper us, we end up having a great stay."

"Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. We would love to stay again even without an eclipse!"

"The place is well located in Adirondak but we have rented for 8 persons and we had not enough place to sleep, no extra matress. The sofa bed was horrible (juste for one personne) So three persons had no place to sleep and the host didnt care and told us that we should bring our own matress.
