"We had a great stay in Dannemora! The spot worked out perfectly for our group of 4 college students. The vrbo is very close to Mount lion which made it easy for us to go on the hike! The property owner is extremely nice and let us check out later than planned because our hiking. The apartment is very clean and cute and has a big living room that is good for playing games or watching movies. It is located right next to Dannemora prison which and there is not much in the town other than the prison...

"Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. We would love to stay again even without an eclipse!"

"If you look at the listing and say 'wow, this place sounds great!' then you're exactly right. We had a group of 13 for four nights, and it was the perfect place for us. Derek was an excellent host and answered all of our questions and gave some great recommendations. Only problem was that there were just too many fun things to do. "Amazing experience... a must stay!! The communication with the owners was outstanding. Yann was so kind and informative. He ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one. We stayed in the Norway cabin which was so cute and super clean. The cabin was equipped with everything you need... even a Keurig coffee machine! We especially enjoyed the fireplace. "Sonia and Steve are the best hosts ever! They made us feel at home and Sonia's cooking is super good. The owners on the other hand are not so gracious, we wanted to make our stay shorter since ski conditions were nit the best and Sonia talk to them but they were un flexible about the issuse abd did not let us cancelled the other days. But how Sonia and Steve treat us and pamper us, we end up having a great stay."
