Close to the Kolpa River, the border with Croatia, this rustic apartment is the ideal base for a family or friends who are looking for a relaxing holiday in southeastern Slovenia. The ground-floor apartment sleeps 4 people.

Access to the apartment is via a private, shaded terrace which has a dining table and chairs for relaxed meals al fresco. The front door opens into an open-plan living space with contemporary decor. There is a dining table for 4 people, a flat-screen TV and a modern kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and kettle.

The airy bedroom has a double bed, 2 single beds, a wardrobe, and a door out onto the garden.

Location
The cottage is in the White Carniola (Bela Krajina) region in southeastern Slovenia. The area is known for its unspoiled countryside, with forests and the beautiful River Kolpa. The town of Adlesici is in the middle of the Kolpa Krajinski Park which borders the river. There are plenty of activities including kayaking, fishing and swimming from one of the many river beaches. Away from the river, visitors can enjoy hiking or mountain biking through pristine landscapes.

The historic town of Crnomelj is just 10 minutes away. Here you will be able to find most necessities in the local supermarkets or smaller stores. The town is also home to a fascinating medieval castle and The Church of the Holy Spirit which dates back to the 15th Century. The Crnomelj Wine Cellar is a great place to sample the finest local wines and they can even arrange group wine tastings.

Ljubljana’s international airport is just over 2 hours away. Zagreb’s Franjo Tudman Airport is closer, just 1 hour and 10 minutes from the apartment.
