"The host was wonderful and communicative whenever I had a question! What a perfect little space, fully stocked and even had a wash/dryer! Several Plus’s were the fenced in yard where I could leave my front door open and let the pups come in and out and the local area….plenty of crickets singing, deer and a very safe/friendly neighborhood to walk my dogs late at night and in the early mornings! "The property was great and worked very well for our family on a trip that was Chicago-centric. It was effectively 35-55 min from downtown based on traffic and was easy to to as well as easy to park more than one car. The bathrooms were well appointed and had everything we needed. It wasn't mentioned in the description, but there is a public bike/walking trail right across the street. We had a couple of great strolls right along a scenic river, really really pleasant."

"The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River."

"Ronnie was absolutely professional and kind. His boat "Pure Pleasure" completely lived up to its name. Everyone on the dock at the marina was kind. My kiddos enjoyed the boat and all of its amenities. We were able to watch movies, cook what we call "boat burgers", fish on the dock, get some much needed relaxation, as well as listen to some music. We will definitely book again, plus, Starved Rock is only an hour away. My kiddos will have this enjoable memory for a lifetime. Thanks, Ronnie! Many...
