Welcome to Mare Dunes, a pet-friendly retreat in the beautiful Palm Bay Village complex. This charming property features two upstairs bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen-size bed, and a memory foam mattress in the master bedroom, perfect for unwinding after a day of island adventures. The complex is known for one of the best lagoon-style, heated pools on the island, complete with a waterfall and a shallow area for kids to enjoy. With lush tropical landscaping, BBQ grills for guest use, and a poolside hangout area, you'll feel like you're in paradise. Inside, the open-concept common area on the first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a cozy living space with brand-new furniture—ideal for family time. Come stay and experience the perfect blend of comfort and relaxation!

The central location of Palm Bay Village gives guests easy access to everything the island has to offer including miles of windswept beaches, and numerous shopping and eating destinations.

CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.
-PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO PETS/WEIGHT RESTRICTION OF 25LBS OR LESS AND CAN NOT EXCEED 20" IN HEIGHT.
-$100 per pet fee (7 days or less), $200 (8-29 days), $300 (30+ days).
-$50 pet cleaning fee (7 days or less), $75 (8-29 days), $100 (30+ days).

Upon arrival at Mare Dunes, we were so delighted to see that the unit was very clean and the check in process was easy. We have stayed at different units on the property, and this is definitely one of two favorites. The unit is stocked with all the kitchen items needed in order to cook a family meal or if you like there are gas grills on the property for guests to use. The condo also has a very nice patio that you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or read a good book while listening to the waterfall from the resort style pool. The rooms are very spacious and offer nice comfy beds for a good night's rest. The complex is located on Padre Island and there is plenty to do with just a short walk or a short drive. We look forward to staying at Mare Dune's in the near future.

Overall the stay was great. The condo was nice and well kept . There was a hiccup on timing of check-in due to a contractor needing to work on the garage door but all in all it was a pleasant stay .

Pool security and pool grado

We love staying here, is our second time, location is convenient and we have pool access from rm. This time there was a security guard doing rounds, which is great. There was a younger guy the first couple of days. But the 3rd day was a different security guard and he didn’t understand the meaning of diving, he told us kids couldn’t jump into the pool, they weren’t diving!! Families were living the pool for this reason, kind of intimidating to have someone calling you off when you are doing nothing wrong. Also the grado wasn’t working nor the other water features, not sure why they get turned off early, if most people are the pool in the afternoon. We saw they were working in the morning, but when would get there around 6p they would be off. Thanks

Excellent condo near beach

An absolutely stunning condo that was very clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed. Just a two minute ride to the beach in the property had a great pool with barbecue Grills nearby. Unfortunately the pool was so dirty we didn’t go in….looked like no one cleans it and it was like that Thursday through Sunday. Otherwise, the property was excellent and we’d return once more to see if the pool issue was a fluke. Definitely a stunning condo though.

Great Pool and Location

Both bedrooms are upstairs. Plenty of room for an air mattress or 2 also. Couchbed downstairs. Pool visible from patio. Great place for the price. There are places that are a little closer to the beach, but the distance is negligible because you can drive on the beaches anyways. :) We stayed in a different unit in the same condo complex last year and loved the pool so much that we wanted to stay there again. It's beautiful and perfect for a relaxing swim and has shallow areas for kids of all ages. This unit was clean and had towels and all the basics covered. I wish some basic seasonings stayed in the cupboards but understand why they aren't. There was a light that needed changing and an appliance thay stopped working but the owners were quick to respond and worked around our schedule and it wasn't an issue at all. Great stay!

Clean unit close to ocean & beach. Unaware that bedrooms were upstairs (not specified). No internet or cable TV for 2 days. No cable TV in one bedroom for 4 days. Dryer doesn't dry well. One broken bar stool that we just set aside so no one got hurt. Overall rating of 3 star.

Palm Bay Village

Nice place close to the beach and the pool is great. Furniture was comfortable but could use some update because of wear. The kitchen had everything you might need. The bedrooms were a nice size too. The patio looks right out on the pool. Patio set was not fancy but plenty serviceable. I would rent again.

Great location for the price! However, a few issues before you rent.

Location was perfect. Nice access to the pool, short distance to the beach. Met our needs for the first trip to Corpus. However, things that need attention: cleanliness was ok...it wasn’t the normal hard to clean sand from beach goers. It was the carpet wear and stains and the fact that it didn’t seem vacuumed when you find things randomly like bottle caps, abandoned Gatorade bottles or the plastic pieces from brand news clothes tags. The carpet on the stairs was terrible and likely gets the most wear. The porch by the pool was a mess and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The garage had broken glass chips from beer bottles or something that I had to sweep away to park our vehicle in. Guest bathroom tub didn’t drain so you showered in 2 inches of soap/dirty water. There wasn’t a blanket for the sleeper sofa So luckily we had a beach blanket for our son to keep warm and the sleeper sofa right front corner collapses in from the frame and is unsafe for a kid if you aren’t paying attention. Place needs updating and a good refresh in my opinion. A little surprised to be honest but overall we felt safe and had a great trip. Likely won’t stay there again.

We liked it very much!!! We would stay again in this property. My teen daughter and her friends loved the pool. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is a plus and having another restroom downstairs was great. My husband liked that it had its own car garage. This property is close by beach which is another plus. I would definitely recommend this place!

COVID get away

The place was very nice. A/C wasn't cooling the first night, but an ac repairman came out promptly and helped us out. Great communication with the renter during that!! We have stayed at Palm Bay a couple of times before and always love it there. Pool is amazing! Quiet and close to the beach. Hope to be back soon!
