"Enjoyed the stay over all. Well furnished and well stocked with cooking items. The boat house at end of quiet cove was great for watching wildlife - deer, bald eagles, white pelicans, Canadian geese and of course jumping bass 😁. The only issue we had with the property was lack of task lighting (bedside lamps) and the lack of back deck to enjoy a morning of watching wildlife while drinking our morning coffee. "

"We stayed in Cabin 1 and had a lovely time. The cabin was cozy, updated, clean and just perfect for a weekend at the lake. There is no indoor plumbing so need to use the shower house which is about 50 feet away. It was very clean and the women’s side offered two private rooms each with a shower, sink and toilet. The shower had plenty of warm water and good water pressure. We look forward to staying there again. "

"The resort is very nice. Our cabin’s upstairs bedrooms were a little warm at night ( it was in the mid 90s on two days we were there); may require separate units for upstairs and downstairs. The kids loved the pools and fishing off the dock. We had an incident with teenagers who weren’t supposed to be at the pool. But management handled that. The restaurant/bar food was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "

"The propery was very nice. The rooms were great and we loved that there were fans and AC units in all the rooms. The area was decently quiet. We spent most of our time on the screened porch for meals and just hanging out. Love that it was pet friendly and that we could bring our dogs"

"We love this cozy cabin! This was our 3rd visit, & we hope to return. The layout & organization make the small cabin comfortable for our family of 5 (including 3 teenage boys). "Darnel did an excellent job with communication and answered every question quickly by text or call. Truly above and beyond. Our stay was adventurous and relaxing. A very nice getaway from KC. "Our first impression of the property was how clean it was, it was very clean. The area is quiet and very restful, we had no real big issues. The house is well stocked and well decorated. We were comfortable while we were there and enjoyed fishing from the dock. We did have a little trouble getting checked in, initially the email said 3 p.m. but then said 4 p.m. so I didn't have the check in info. But that happens it wasn't any real big deal. The owner Jeff took good care of us."

"This was an amazing vacation retreat. The cabin was incredible with its warm woodwork throughout and was beautifully decorated with antiques, lending to the ambiance of a true cabin in the woods.
