"Since it's a large corporate property my expectation was that it would be similar to other properties that stayed. However it was quite surprising to see some type of soil stain on the bedspread, and the tiles in the bathroom coming up from the floor. But the next morning when it was time to take a shower, I was surprised to see that the shower head was not mounted to the wall just hanging like a hand shower. There was no place to put in to take a shower so I had to hold on to it the whole time....

"The overall condition of the building an amenities just felt run down and outdated. No option for queen beds so my husband and i had to share a double which was definitely not ideal and wasnt comfortable. There was trash in the can when we checked in, no toiletries provided at all. Not many channel options, paid extra for a balcony and the furniture was janky and outdated and the carpet was old and stained. I stayed at this property about 7 years ago and it has definitely (unfortunately) gone...

"The property is downtown so that was really easy. The room was quite clean. Staff were helpful. Some of the food could be improved upon. The buffet breakfast was not wonderful and bar food was adequate. It would be great if they employed a Chef that was a bit more modern.
We also tried to find a charging station for our rental vehicle which was electric and the staff was unsure how to direct us.
I would say it's a good property for the area."

"There was visible mice crawling around in the lobby of the hotel. Countless stains on the carpet in the hallways. The floor tiles were peeling and loose. The room was run down with stains over the chairs, leftover hair in the bathroom, fuzz on the glass, and food crumbs on the tables. If I were Hilton, I wouldn’t want my name on this place. "

"The room was clean, bedding and linen were great. The windows were painted over with an opaque paint, so you couldn't see anything outside, which was very strange. The hotel itself was in a great location close to the airport and easy on access to the freeways heading into downtown Cleveland. Their free breakfast was the best. Good selection of pancakes, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt and then hot food of eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, etc. Also great hot coffee. I enjoyed my stay. "

"We love the Glidden House and always stay there when in Cleveland. The only negative comment I have is the room we had this time had a door to an adjoining room. We could hear every cough, sneeze, and words of the couple in the adjoining room. I wanted to point this out to the staff, but we had to check out extremely early and no one was at the desk.
If you stay there, you will love the area, mansion, and breakfast along with the helpful staff."

"As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe at this hotel. As some other reviews I’ve seen imply, the property is a bit worn. There was some staining on the comforter but I felt that everything had been washed and was clean. Check out Cozumel Mexican Restaurant next door for great food!"
