"Das Hotel sowie die Lage sind wunderschön. Das Personal war weitestgehend freundlich. Das Zimmer war hübsch eingerichtet. Das Bad war jetzt nicht auf dem neusten Stand, aber soweit sauber. Die Dusche war in der Badewannenvariante mit Regendusche, allerdings leider ohne Handbrause. Ich würde das Hotel grundsätzlich weiter empfehlen. Im übrigen auch das Essen im Restaurant."

"We stayed 3 nights, eating in each night. It is a really lovely establishment which has exceptional food and wonderful attentive staff. The full English breakfast is very good quality food cooked to a high standard, served by very friendly staff, perfect way to start your day! "The host was there to great us with a smile. She explained everything and offered us to order breakfast but we had to leave early to catch the ferry. The room was very nice. She was kind enough to order our taxi for the morning as dover doesn't have uber. I wish we had had more time to enjoy the stunning views from the patio. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Very walkable to area locations. Historically old but cleanest place I think I have ever stayed. Remember that many places don't have AC and this is one but fans in rooms with full length window open to balcony in our room. Narrow stairway to rooms if that means anything to anyone. Was fine for us. Breakfast was buffet style, tasty and we still had personal attention with refills, etc. Host made sure we had transportation to the cruise port."
