The roof in the bathroom had a hole in it and debris kept falling through it. We told the staff but they didn't do anything about it. Also the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the dining area of our room. The restaurant was closed so we had to use one 400 metres away in an adjacent building

The property is outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. This has got to be one of my all time fav hotels. And the spa was the cherry on top. I stayed in a manor luxe room - beautiful! The staff are busy, so don’t expect anything quick. Shambolic is a good way to explain the staffing! The lady behind the bar needs customer service training. Her huffing and puffing was not appreciated when ordering drinks. Above all, even with the shambolic faulty tower style staff I loved my stay!

We loved the spa really nice. All the negative comments should be deleted as it’s not true that the spa is run down. They seem to have done a huge refurb and everything looks great. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing

Beautiful location, stunning property! Some of the staff were unhelpful and curt. Breakfast booked at check in, advised breakfast served until 11:15, so we could spa first, so we booked for 10 to allow for this - breakfast actually stopped serving at 10. We stayed in a beautiful courtyard. Rooms had everything you needed and nice touch that all bathroom products are Elemis. The room was pretty run down, carpets worn out and poorly siliconed around bathroom.
