"Staff were very helpful, especially Caroline at reception who was excellent & went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Only let down would be the sausages at breakfast which were inedible as they were so rubbery but other than this I can’t fault them & would definitely stay again. "

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Double bed very comfy, single bed far too soft for an adult, fine for a small child. Rooms would benefit from a deep clean. The building is looking tired (visible bubbling on the walls, discoloured plug holes, tatty bed bases) and needs refreshing. For a spa day I would be disappointed, for a base to explore the area it was fine. The pool was a key factor in choosing this hotel."
