"The Pack Horse Inn was everything I was hoping it would be. We were welcomed like family, the food and service were spectacular, and the room was beautiful! The bed is so comfy, the claw foot tub is to die for, and so much more. We highly recommend checking out the Pack Horse Inn."

"We stayed overnight before a wedding, groom, best man, father of the bride, rooms are clean and comfortable, staff were great, special mention to ELLIE, she was more excited than us, kept us calm, helped out with tailoring in the morning, took photos, THANK YOU ELLIE!! Breakfast was good, lots of choice, as much as you like. Overall, a great stay!!"

"I enjoyed my stay at the Alma Lodge Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was easy to get a late drink at the bar. The breakfast was quite varied and staff checked that items were maintained regularly, unlike in many other hotels I have stayed at in the past. I would be happy to stay at the Alma Lodge again."

"Everything about the property especially the staff are superb but its not appropriate not having even a single microwave and a fridge for customers use. Considering people with allergies or from different background would like to bring small portion of their food to refrigerate or warm prior eating. This does not affect the sales from the Indian restaurant and should be provided to attract more clients. Thanks"

"After the warm welcome, we were shown to our room and all the room facilities were explained properly. The property has so much fascinating history and the current owners have gone thru great lengths to keep it all in the best conditions. We loved the breakfast with a great choice. "Our stay was great, the service was warm and enthusiastic. The decor was beautiful and the whole hotel was clean and well maintained. The restaurant served delicious food in the evening. Breakfast was not as good but was still nice. The room was well equipped but quite small. "

"We loved our stay at the George. Jos and Lindsay are lovely and run a very nice business. We had two rooms, wife and I and Daughter and Partner. We arrived soaking wet after a walk on Mam Tor. Checked in, had a laugh with the owners, parking was easy, rooms are excellent and clean, food good, beers good. Being born and raised in Derbyshire and an out doors person who spent years in the peaks before heading to that ‘great land down under’, I had somehow missed Hayfield. Lovely village and we...
