Saw an elk outside our window. Walking distance or very short drive to GC Visitors Center and Mather Point. Magical experience at Yavapai Lodge."

"The room was tidy but not clean. There were crumbs on the floor under the table and along the baseboards of the room. The bathtub did not drain properly and did not look like it had been scrub in a long time as it had a dirt ring all around it. Took two requests to fix the drainage problem. Housekeeping, did fill the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toliet paper, paper cups until we asked. The hall carpet was stain and flithy looking."

"The AC worked well. The room was clean and room had good amount of space with dining table and patio table on deck to enjoy the outdoor view. Great stargazing in the evening. Would stay here again. Only 25 mins from Sedona."

"The bath is the worst of all and pulled the rating down. There are many area has ugly patches up and warm water was a total disaster; it was very hard to control. The problem I can see cannot be fixed because it will mean complete hull away remodeling. If you expect a nice shower while staying; you should not pick this. Breakfast is not good. Not enough seats."

"Pros: good location to shops, food, bars. Newly-ish remodeled rooms. Lobby and gift shop were nice. Restaurant and bar were nice. Price was good for the stay. Cons: big swing n a miss on not having patios or balconies. Hot tub was not nearly hot enough. Pool was closed. Food/drinks/room service were entirely too expensive. When housekeeping came on day 2 they left dirty towels and didn’t change linens or make the bed. "
