"We chose this property for its unique look and feel as opposed to the large corporate hotels. We weren’t disappointed. Beautiful bedrooms, lovely quiet lounge, afternoon snack and relatively easy walk down to waterfront. We went to three of the restaurants recommended by the hotel and all were excellent."

"Chambre très propre et confortable. Les petits-déjeuners sont excellents. Nous avons apprécié que ce soit un peu plus retiré du secteur touristique, tout en restant facilement accessible en voiture. Et quel bonheur d’apercevoir des chevreuils dans le jardin chaque matin!"

"Easy access to the convention centre. Sad to see the horses pulling carriages in busy, noisy dangerous traffic though. "

"Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and have air conditioning. If you’re staying here, it’s best to come out of the main door by reception and walk to Government Street to go downtown rather than going down Douglas. Sports bar onsite and complementary tea and fruit offered for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Very clean, modern hotel. It was a pleasure to walk through the lobby every day and see the plants and the koi, and the at work. My family is looking forward to staying here again."

"A BIG shout out to Roy!! We thought we had left something at the hotel. We called and Roy searched high and low trying to find the item. Fortunately, we found the item with us, we are now in Vancouver. I appreciated Roy’s persistence in trying to lost item. Also our stay was lovely and loved your hotel!"

"This was a very special stay for us. My wife and I were traveling with my Brother and his wife for a vacation. We only spent (1) night there due to budget constrains, but it was well worth it. My wife and sister-in-law really enjoyed “High Tea” the next day and my brother and I explored the area and had a great luck at an Irish Pub nearby. The location is great. "Einfach großartig! Die Einrichtung ist super kreativ und erinnert mit ihrem Retro-Charme an Scooby Doo – überall findet man liebevoll gestaltete Details, vom Comic-Heft im Zimmer bis hin zur detaillierten Beschreibung der Inhaltsstoffe im Shampoo. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders praktisch: Man kann kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen und es gibt eine Laundry. Ein weiteres Highlight ist das Frühstücksrestaurant The Ruby, das direkt dazugehört und absolut zu empfehlen ist....
