"Gorgeous boutique hotel with fantastic updates that also keep the charm and history of a French Quarter building. Beautifully decorated. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is very close to Bourbon Street, so there is quite a bit of noise, especially at night. I sleep with earplugs anyway, but I know the hotel does offer them if needed. Courtyard is fantastic and has plenty of seating. Would definitely stay at The Celestine again when in the French Quarter."

"The staff was definitely the best part of our stay, the rooms were fine, we had no issues but we were hoping for a little more special decor or something to match the extraordinary prices (though we know Jazz Fest means $$$). For the money we could have stayed at many other high end places-the staff was excellent. Not sure I’d make a special point to return but no major complaints."

"Property ok but staff made experience poor. Had very expensive FedEx package sent to me there on weekend and staff received and put in their storage without contacting me or delivering to room even though room # was on it. That caused me real problems having to return back to hotel to get it. There was no apology, no sense of care about the situation, basically blaming me for the problem saying I should have been checking in with them to see if a package arrived. It would have been very easy...

"A quite location just a few blocks away from all the busy! Breakfast was wonderful and staff was so friendly and wanting to help with everything! The room was spacious and modern and very cozy beds! We will be back! Thank you for being wonderful hosts!"

"This was such an amazing stay!! Immediately our jaws dropped when we walked into the lobby! All of the rooms are decorated beautifully and there are great courtyard areas to hang out."

"Magnificent apartment in an historic building, I loved it. The communication was brilliant and the host bent over backwards to accommodate me. I had a few issues with some mice in the apartment however they moved me to a new one while they sorted out the situation and were extremely accommodating. I would thoroughly recommend."

"Breakfast was ok. The coffee was warm, at best. The staff was very nice. Had stomach issues after almost each day. We had a one time $29.00 credit from Expedia. This wasn’t explained well. We had to give the voucher upon a meal or drink at the bar, which we didn’t realize until we got home. We assumed it would come off at checkout. A credit would be appreciate! The pillows were very uncomfortable. Location was excellent, room was very nice. "

"Beautiful hotel in a great location — it was easy to get anywhere in New Orleans on foot. The common spaces are especially lovely, with a stylish bar and a library/lounge area that give the hotel a lot of character and charm. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. We stayed on the top floor, and the room was very dark. The lighting was extremely poor, and after searching for a while we finally found a tiny wall lamp hidden near the door. The dirty window facing the roof made the room...

"Great location for access to Bourbon street, shopping, restaurants, Jackson Square and the Green Line streetcar to the Garden District. The hotel was very clean. Our room was fairly spacious, clean and comfortable. Separate sitting area with TV, kitchenette with sink, coffeemaker and refrigerator. Bedroom nicely furnished, TV and comfortable bed with upscale linens. Val-let parking was excellent. Car was parked in a locked garage directly across the street from the hotel and Val-let personnel...

"Overall the location was exactly what we needed for our trip, the room was spacious for me and my friends. The staff needs to work on better cleaning there some rust areas in the bathroom especially in shower it kept leaving a black residue on our towels when we hung it up on the shower door"

"My room was very nice and the staff cleaned it daily with precision. The only thing that I didn't like is they charge you additionally for standard wi-fi. With what it cost to stay there it should be included. "
